This soft cotton is made from 100% recycled materials and is pleasant to work with: soft to the touch, easy to tie, retains its structure well and gives shiny fringes with a brush.

We are very proud and passionate about providing communities of manufacturers with recycled cotton, and we would love to tell you more about how our recycled cotton is created. By accepting textile waste that would otherwise end up in landfills, we are doing our part to encourage more sustainable and zero-waste production models. Pre-consumer textile waste is grouped into colour categories and then mixed to create a uniform colour that does not require the application of dyes. This recycling and grouping of colors gives the rope tiny spots (or freckles) that add to its beauty and allude to how waste has been reused and given new life. In some colors, these spots remain visible and in others, they are not.
