Soft Silk Mohair is a luxurious blend of the best: Silk Mulberry and Kid Mohair.
The mohair comes from Angora goats raised in South Africa. This wool comes from individual farms which ensures their traceability.

Their mohair is certified sustainable and RMS (Responsible Mohair Standard). As well as REACH (European Union regulation adopted to better protect human health and the environment from risks related to chemical substances).

It is also produced with great respect for animal welfare as well as social responsibility. Their spinning mill in Italy follows ethical, technical and environmental standards that guarantee wool free of hazardous chemicals.

The appellation Kid Mohair comes from the Angora goat (native to Turkey) and more precisely from the fleece of very young angora goats (about 6 months old), either from the first shearing of the Angora goats. This wool fiber is the finest and softest.

Silk, on the other hand, is humane. Silk fibers are collected from cocoons after the chrysalis have turned into moths and have escaped. This means that silkworms are not killed during the process as in conventional silk production.

The appellation Mulberry Silk comes from farmed worms, fed with mulberry leaf only. This makes it the highest quality silk available for purchase.
