Flumen is truly a source of pride! It is a wool exclusive to Otriko that we wanted to offer to our knitters.
We also wanted to offer pure sweetness!
We know the precious time that each knitter takes to make a work, whether for her or to offer, so it was important that the fiber reflect the softness of that time.
It is with this state of mind that we decided on a 100% merino SW fiber, not only for its softness but also for its ease of maintenance. These two characteristics come from a clever combination of fibres, namely that of North American merino for its long-lasting appearance and that of Italian merino for its extreme softness.
Without forgetting its versatility that makes it the perfect fiber for all types of projects: children’s and adult's clothing, shawls, collars, mittens, tuques, baby blanket, etc.
Moreover, we wanted to offer a rich palette of colors that resembles us while being in tune with the St-Laurent River. Indeed, the colors we have selected will inevitably recall the latter.
We are pleased to offer you a hand-dyed wool in Quebec, and especially at an affordable price for this quality of wool.
Note: Although we take great care to rinse each skein, it is possible that some more saturated colors will drip slightly.
